Marcel Mail Privacy Policy
Effective September 11, 2026
Overview
Marcel Mail is a private, noncommercial personal automation used by one Google account. It helps the account owner manage email, calendar, and files across household and travel workflows. It is not offered to the public.
Google data accessed
Depending on the feature the owner uses, Marcel Mail may access:
• Gmail messages, message content, threads, labels, and basic Gmail settings.
• Permission to send messages through the owner’s Gmail account.
• Google Calendar events and calendar information, including permission to create, update, or delete events requested by the owner.
• Google Drive files and folders that the owner selects or links to a configured workflow.
How the data is used
Google user data is used only to provide the personal automation features requested or configured by the account owner. Examples include identifying relevant email updates, organizing the owner’s inbox, sending owner-directed messages or alerts, coordinating calendar events, and reading linked files needed by a workflow.
Marcel Mail does not use Google user data for advertising, credit decisions, surveillance, or the training of general-purpose artificial intelligence models.
Storage and security
OAuth credentials and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest. Access is restricted to private systems controlled by the account owner. Google content is retrieved only when needed for a configured feature. Limited derived records, such as message identifiers, processing status, event identifiers, or alert history, may be retained so the automation can avoid duplicate actions and maintain continuity.
Sharing and transfers
Marcel Mail does not sell Google user data or share it with advertisers, data brokers, or information resellers. Data may be processed only by infrastructure providers acting on the owner’s behalf when required to deliver a configured feature, subject to appropriate confidentiality and security controls, or when required by law.
Retention and deletion
OAuth credentials are retained until the owner revokes access or removes the integration. Derived records are retained only while needed for the relevant automation or for troubleshooting. The owner may request deletion of retained credentials and derived records by contacting azuttre@gmail.com. Revoking Marcel Mail in the Google Account permissions page stops future access.
Your choices
The account owner can review or revoke Marcel Mail’s access at any time from Google Account security settings. Revocation may disable features that depend on Gmail, Calendar, or Drive.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Marcel Mail’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
